Asheville Community Acupuncture provides Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and integrative healing techniques. Treatments are provided in a community room setting. We have sliding scale fees and are open almost every day, including evening & weekend hours.
Our Mission: We offer affordable prices in order to make acupuncture accessible to you and your family. Acupuncture works best when it is done frequently and regularly. Our sliding scale can allow you to come as often as required in order for you to get better and stay better.
What to Expect at Community Acupuncture: At your first acupuncture appointment we will consult with you about your health history. We will go over your treatment goals and answer any questions you may have. You will have a brief opportunity, at every appointment, to check in privately with your practitioner. After the consultation we will move into the community treatment room. Most of our treatments are done in recliners but we do have a couple of treatment tables that may be reserved by calling ahead. We ask that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up over the knees and elbows. After your practitioner inserts the needles you will be given a bell. Treatments last approximately 30-60 minutes. We respectfully request that you are still and quiet while you are receiving your treatment. We will remove your needles when your session is complete. We ask that you kindly avoid using strong fragrances, including scented laundry products, as they may exacerbate symptoms for others.
