Lex Keklak (she/her)

"All interest in disease and death is only another expression of interest in life."
-Thomas Mann
Lex is fascinated with all avenues of life. 20 years of teaching hot yoga has inspired an interest in treating injuries and chronic pain with acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha. She also enjoys working with a wide range of conditions, including digestive issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction, treating not only the physical manifestations, but the underlying causes.
Lex made her way to Asheville from Philly to study acupuncture. She studied at both Daoist Traditions and Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, graduating in 2015.
When she is not geeking out on Chinese medicine, Lex is learning how to parent, reading, or playing outside. She likes to say that she didn’t find acupuncture so much as it found her. She has been blessed to stumble upon the most amazing healers in the most unlikely of places. She strives to help her patients find their own way to health and wellness.
