Maggie Thomas (she/her)

MAOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), L.Ac.

Maggie is an acupuncturist and herbalist who combines her training in Chinese medicine with her personal experience living with chronic illness to help others feel better and more vital no matter what life brings them. She understands there is no one-size-fits-all answer to nourishing wellness and enjoys tailoring treatments to each individual, addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She values an approach that encourages gentleness while empowering patients to understand and influence the variables that feed into their conditions.

Maggie is a general practitioner and some specific areas of interest include:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety

  • Chronic illness

  • Depression

  • Diabetes (Type 1 & 2)

  • Fatigue

When she’s not in the clinic, Maggie enjoys playing tennis, kayaking, and hiking. She has been living with type 1 diabetes since age 12 and loves mentoring newly-diagnosed children and adults. Aside from her acupuncture career, Maggie has also worked for nonprofits supporting people with HIV/AIDS, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ older adults. She values inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and building community.
