Dr. SarahJean Serce Miod is a nationally-certified acupuncturist and clinical herbalist. She specializes in:

Medicine of place is important to SarahJean and she encourages patients to connect with the medicine and beauty growing around them. SarahJean grew up surrounded by medicinal plants in the mountains of the north east, and began her formal studies of health and herbal medicine in the 1990s starting with massage, flower essences, and medicinal plants.
She graduated from Evergreen State College with a focus in Ethnobotany of the Pacific Northwest and Holistic Health Science. SarahJean earned her Master’s degree and then Doctorate in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC, where she currently teaches in the student clinic.
When not in the office, SarahJean enjoys dancing, gardening, listening to records, connecting with the seasons through long meanders, and sitting on the porch, drinking tea, listening to birds.
